Paralegal Services
I am able to: Draft pleadings and correspondence Draft discovery and responses (including meeting with the client) Prepare files for trial, and Organize offices and files I do not: Conduct legal research Manage calendars Manage emails Conduct client intake
Facilitative Mediation
I provide a neutral space for individuals with strong disagreements to come together and be heard. To assist in helping them find a solution that works best for them. I handle disagreements between: Spouses Employee - Employee Supervisor - Employee Landlord - Tenant Neighbor - Neighbor Family, Friends, Etc. I provide opportunity to resolve things amicably, respectfully, and with everyone being understood.
Visit Supervisor
I provide supervision for custody visits when the court has ordered supervised visitation. For opportunities to provide free supervised visits, I work alongside MARCH Mediation.
Notary Services
I am able to travel to notarize and deliver documents. I charge the IRS business related travel rate of $0.70 per mile. I wave the mileage rate if scheduled to work in-office for more than simple notarization.

About my Business

About my Business

I started this business because I take great pleasure in working in the legal field, where I have cumulatively invested over six-years as a paralegal, and I love helping people fix their problems. My goal is to continue helping and learning in my community while I finish my degree. I typically specialize in family law, but I am familiar with Workers Compensation and estate planning, and I am quickly able to learn and help in other areas of the law. The mediation services I provide are scheduled at a third-party location local to the parties involved, via Zoom, or in office of any law firm involved. I am Rule 17 certified, and I have completed the Rule 88 certification program to mediate in the state of Missouri.

Confidentiality

I do not share information about who I work with.

I do not share information about what I am working on.

I secure my work documents in a firesafe lockbox when I am not working on them.

I do not work around others that could compromise client information.

Usual turnaround time for documents is twenty-four to forty-eight hours, and mediations are currently scheduled two weeks out. I look forward to assisting you!
